Endless PossibilitiesHey, I don't really believe in fairy tales, but I remember sitting in my back yard way back when and dreaming of taking back the Senate. Okay maybe I had had a couple of Coronas, and I was thinking that the impossible might actually be possible. I was thinking about justice, and wishing that a US Senator who had used a racial slur would cause the collapse of the Republican majority. There wasn't a soul on the Internet who thought that we might actually take the Senate, but today we have done just that, and I think that we need to dream bigger.
What if there is a solution to climate change and that solution is within our reach? Why can't we pay down the national debt, save money for a decade or so, and leave the next generation with some money in the bank? Why is Darfur allowed to happen, and why do we let the African Continent suffer when it is rich in diamonds and oil? Why do American children have inferior education when we have the resources to give them every advantage? Why can't we have peace and security? Why can't all Americans have affordable health care?
The progressives in this country have intercepted the ball.
Now we have to run with it.

That we who lived by honest dreams
Defend the bad against the worse."
