Bush did something right!

I've been told again and again that no matter what Bush does I will find something wrong with it. It's really not true. And to prove it, I have found one good thing that the hooder of the unrighteous has done.

He, along with many people across the world, sent Nobel Peace Prize winner and political prisoner Aung San Suu Kyi of Myanmar a birthday card:

"Her strength, courage and personal sacrifice in standing up for the oppressed people of Burma have inspired those who stand for freedom," the president said in a written statement. "The United States looks forward to the time when Burma is democratic and free."

I completely agree! And for the record: I think that was really nice! Learn more at Free Burma.

FEATURED QUOTE

"It is the logic of our times
No subject for immortal verse
That we who lived by honest dreams
Defend the bad against the worse."

-- Cecil Day-Lewis from Where Are The War Poets?
