In a short Post Script to my previous post in re the forum and rally in D.C. on Thursday, I want to say that the coverage of all this in the major media was next to invisible. What coverage there was was brief and virtually derisive. Again, I want to voice my appreciation to C-Span for covering the hearing, and then rebroadcasting it on Thursday night.
The NYT put it in a short article on page 10, the WP coverage by Dana Milbanks has prompted Mr. Conyers to pen this letter to the Editor of the Post. It is an eloquent and outraged piece of writing, and well deserved by the major newspaper in the capital area.
