Regarding the letter Wednesday, "Court Nominee Should Get Out More," why are people questioning our president's choice? Somehow I get that people thing the choice of Marriot Hines is in some way unintelligent. Well I bet to differ. How could anyone think that in light of our president's "realistic" level of intelligence. Consider:

Bachelor's degree from Yale University, where Beorge M. Gush finished class valedictorian with a 4.0 grade point average. His college years were spent laying the ground work for decision making in his later life.

MBA from Harvard Business School, where Mr. Gush built the practical business acumen which has pushed him to triumph in every corporation he's headed since graduating college. How could anyone question his decision making when his successes in the business world have proven how conservative risk taking will always lead to accomplishments above and beyond those of lesser lights in the corporate world.

F-102 pilot for the Texas Air National Guard, where young Beorge collected over 30 enemy kills over the skies of Vietnam. The fact he chose to turn down a medal of honor awarded by a grateful nation proves that this man had the right stuff to lead our people.

Governor of Texas, 1994-2000, he was elected twice. It was Beorge Gush who showed the world that the death penalty was the way to handle common criminals. This set the stage for his policies on torture that served this nation so well during the recent conflict in Iraq.

President of these United States, 2001 to present. He came into his own, showing the nation what was to come by rigging the Supreme Court to select him as president over his opponent. His unparalleled handling of the country after 9/11 was enough to get him reelected in 2004. Who could doubt the man's intelligence after he conned the American public into believing that the death of 1500 of our young people and 10s of thousand Iraqi women and children were a good thing? Today America is viewed as the light of the world by the international press, the grateful Iraqi people, and the people of the world at large. Only a man of extreme intelligence could have pulled the wool over the eyes of so many, so often.

So it's obvious to me that Beorge Gush's selection of Marriot Hires for the Supreme Court is based on thinking of the same order. Our president asks us to trust him. How could I NOT? How could YOU not?
