Losing Roe Vs. Wade

South Dakota just passed a law banning abortion.

Wow, did I really just write that, or am I in the middle of a nightmare that I can't wake up from? And how bad will things get in this country where lawmakers now feel no worries about passing such legislation since the Supreme Court is now a friend to the right to lifers? What other rights will we lose in the coming years? And we're not talking about the next election cycle, we're talking about the next twenty years.

This particular law banning abortion is cruel and values the life of an unformed child over the dignity of women everywhere. This law makes no exception for victims of rape or incest. This law says to women in the state of South Dakota that the crime of being forcibly impregnated against your will means nothing, that a woman must give birth to the shame and the horror, this law is just the beginning.
