Just a Coincidence?

As you can probably tell by now, the mainstream media really bugs the crap out of me. Let me just share a few quotes from a story I found on AOL regarding the recent walkouts by students.
LOS ANGELES (March 30) - One Southern California school district is closing its middle and high schools for the rest of the week after officials said they heard rumors that some of the widespread demonstrations against proposed federal immigration reforms could turn violent.
A pertinent question--had this story been written by real journalists--would be to find out where this school disctrict got its information. You heard a rumor? If anyone has been following these historic events--and they are historic--the protests have been very peaceful. Funny, that's never mentioned in the story, though. No mention of the fact that despite this "rumor" the students who have been walking out of class since last Friday have been quite peaceful.

The demonstrations have coincided with U.S. Senate debate on a measure to determine the future of millions of immigrants now living in the United States illegally.
Coincided? What a coincidence! Just as our legislators are gearing up to debate their new and improved draconian legislation that would criminilize hard-working people in this country, these frisky--and potentially violent--students decided to start ditching/protesting! Isn't that weird? But you notice, that's how things happen in the news. Things just happen.

About 6,000 area students protested or didn't show up for school Wednesday.
Some of these students walked over eleven miles to City Hall in Los Angeles, and I'm sure students in other areas made similar trips, and these jerks have the nerve to insinuate that they are just ditching school. Just a bunch of violent kids ditching school. They couldn't possibly care about the fact that a bunch of rich white people are debating about whether or not to criminalize their parents hard work.

Dallas police officers take a high school student into custody. Thousands marched on City Hall, and one girl had her hand severed in a protest-related injury.
A protest-related injury? Isn't that just vague enough to get you thinking about just how violent these kids can get? Of the four reporters who contributed to this story, apparently not one of them thought to interview some of the students and get their side of the story. But we have quotes from the police and school officials. We have pictures of the police arresting or issuing citations to students.
