The Cost of WarWell, I just found something that will ensure a peaceful sleep tonight. With my blood pressure in the astronomical numbers. It's a list compiled by Rep. John Murtha comparing the cost of this war with domestic expenses. A war that is costing the US citizens $11 million an hour. An hour. The mind can't quite grasp this figure.Murtha says: The following are some comparisons between what we are spending in Iraq as we "stay the course" indefinitely and what those funds could be used for instead. The ensuing list is staggering. In every way. Murtha uses Pennsylvania, his state, when he gets to a state infrastructure itemization, but the information is out there to do this for each state. Please read this list. Please pass it on to everyone you know. Comparing the cost of war and domestic expenses . | +Save/Share | | |
