Is this the "business of America" now?

One of the actual tanker brothers at the Tanker Brothers "milblog" posted on 12/12/06 from Iraq in BTG: The Return of Tanker Gunner. He writes:

Our business is war, and business is good.
Back in the 1920s, President Calvin Coolidge used to say, "The business of America is business."

Are we now down to "the business of America is war"? And business is good?

This war will be with us for a long time after all the American soldiers come home.

FEATURED QUOTE

"It is the logic of our times
No subject for immortal verse
That we who lived by honest dreams
Defend the bad against the worse."

-- Cecil Day-Lewis from Where Are The War Poets?
