Hmmnn....

So let me get this straight. The President wants his staff to speak to members of Congress about the firing (he kept saying resignation, didn't he know that they were fired?) of eight U.S. attorney's last year, but he doesn't want them to have to testify under oath.

Is that because he wants them to lie?
