Join the Resistance: Fall in LoveI'm not sure what the consensus on videos is, but I'm going to try and make this my last one for a while. I stumbled upon this at Submedia. It's an incredibly powerful short film that I just had to share. Luckily I was able to find a copy over at You Tube.As I watched the film it brought me back to something I heard Noam Chomsky say one time. I won't try quoting him here but basically he was pointing out that we have to learn about oppression. It's not always evident to us. There are countless ways we are exploited and oppressed in this society and yet many--if not most--of us feel quite free. This film does a good job of illustrating just that. What would you do today if you didn't have to rent yourself to a greedy capitalist? What would life really be like if you were free? What would freedom really feel like? Does it scare you? Watch the film. Enjoy! Then, join the resistance: Fall in love. | +Save/Share | | |
