Do You Believe In The Oil Fairies?

Earlier today I had intended to post about yesterday's meeting of the House Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming with executives of Exxon Mobil, BP America, Chevron, ConocoPhillips and Shell Oil. I had my notes and stuff all ready, and then...the story about the waiving of environmental legislation for the Wall Builders of Homeland Security caught my eye and I temporarily abandoned the oil exec story. And now I'm just so glad for that whole sequence of events, becuz Kelpie Wilson, environmental editor for Truthout.org, has written the Ur story on that meeting on the Hill, a so far better story than I could write in my dreams, seeing as how she's an official environmental editor and has so much more information than I was able to find.
