Newsweek: Obama ahead 51% - 36%

Obama is up 15 percentage points, after being tied in last month's polling.

Noam Scheiber, at The Stump, writes:

Perhaps more encouragingly, Obama does better among Democrats (80-11) than McCain does among Republicans (78-12) and enjoys a substantial lead (69-18) among Clinton supporters.

He also leads 48-36 among Independents, 45-43 among whites, 54-33 among women, and 44-41 among people 60 and over.
There's a rock concert going on in the park across the street from my place - sounds terrific.

Hope you're having a great Saturday!

"It is the logic of our times
No subject for immortal verse
That we who lived by honest dreams
Defend the bad against the worse."
