Christmas Musik

Okay, Christmas Day is over. But the Christmas season extends to Three Kings Day on January 6. So I just found a couple of YouTube videos with a special kind of holiday music: German country Christmas songs.

This is an all-time classic, "Der Weihnachtsmann der fährt 'nen großen Truck" (The Christmas Man [Santa Claus, more or less], he drives a great big truck"], sung by Tom Astor.




This is a good one, too, also sung by Tom Astor, "Frieden bleibt ein Weihnachtstraum" (Peace remains a Christmas dream), actually a general antiwar song:
