Paul Krugman liked Obama's speech to Congress last week

Paul Krugman opens his 02/27/09 New York Times column Climate of Change this way:

Elections have consequences. President Obama’s new budget represents a huge break, not just with the policies of the past eight years, but with policy trends over the past 30 years. If he can get anything like the plan he announced on Thursday through Congress, he will set America on a fundamentally new course.
Sounds like a good plan to me!

"It is the logic of our times
No subject for immortal verse
That we who lived by honest dreams
Defend the bad against the worse."
