Before and After

So...there aren't any prominent Democrats who will come out in support of gay marriage, but WTF, check out Cindy McCain! In the far left picture, she is sporting a NOH8 tattoo on her cheek, in support of the struggle to reverse the odious Proposition 8. I don't know about you, but I'm thinking that it took a lot of cojones for her to pose for that picture, and you can bet that she will get a lot of crap from the right-wingers for her act of courage. It would be far better of course, if the spouse of a Democratic presidential candidate were to suddenly find his inner steelies and join the cause. Bill Clinton, for example, owes us for our years of loyalty, and for signing the evil DOMA into law.

How far have the Democrats run from progressive values? Where is the hope that we embraced only a year ago?
