A "democratic moment" in Spain?Spain in the last few days has seen an interesting series of protests against the austerity measures imposed on them by the EU and foolishly accepted by the Socialist majority government, which is likely to pay heavily for their service to Big Capital in the elections taking place today. Aljazeera English has this report, which includes a Scottish expert of some sort who just gushes with dumb prejudices, that unfortunately seem to be widespread among the elites of Germany and France at the moment. This looks a lot to me like what Jerry Brown calls a "democratic moment."
