At least Dany Cohn-Bendit hasn't forgotten what the EU is about

Dany Cohn-Bendit, head of the Green caucus in the European Parliament, was one political leader who pushed the EU to take action against the authoritarian constitutional changes in Hungary under the ruling Fidesz headed by President Victor Orbán .

"We have a very serious democratic crisis in Hungary," he said.

He describes Orban as a "Hungarian Napoleon" who "sees himself as a little Hungarian Emperor" and as a "kookoo autocratic" leader pursuing "a radical dismantling of democratic atructures."
