Pension reform for California state workers

Jon Ortiz reports on Gov. Jerry Brown's proposal for pension reform for California state workers Jerry Brown delivers pension reform language to legislators Sacramento Bee/State Worker Blog 2/02/2012.

It includes raising the full pension age to 67 for non-public service workers. This is one of Jerry's proposals as Governor with which I really disagree. It's always possible he put that provision in as a bargaining point. But as policy, it's a really bad idea.
