Waiting for SCOTUSThere's a lot of buzz about the Supreme Court right now. Oral argument over Obamacare. Is the mandate an offense against the Constitution, the harbinger of fascism, socialism, and Shariah law? The Roberts court will decide, or has already decided. It is, after all, quite likely that the three days of oral argument are just an exercise in egoistic posturing.Progress is hard; the struggle continues. Those of us who thought we could retire with the election of Barack Obama, who thought our liberal aspirations had arrived at the gates of the Promised Land, have been disillusioned in the past three plus years. However the Citizens United, corporations are people, court decides, we have work to do. Lots of work. | +Save/Share | | |
