The austerity vs. growth/Angienomics vs. macroeconomics fight in Europe

This is a good discussion of the problems of German Chancellor Angela Merkel's austerity policies for the lesser peoples non-German nations of the EU vs. Macroeconomics 101, featuring three Members of the European Parliament (MEPs): a Dutch conservative, an especially snooty-sounding British conservative and Hannes Swoboda of the Austrian Social Democratic Party (SPÖ). The two conservatives were badly outnumbered.
