Fabulous, Fun-filled Houston(Via The Liberal Avenger) Tom DeLay has weighed in on Iraq, and we can all rest a little easier now. As it turns out, Iraq is no worse than Houston..."These things take time and they take a long time, and some people get weary of the constant barrage that we see in the media. You know, if Houston, Texas, was held to the same standard as Iraq is held to, nobody'd go to Houston, because all this reporting coming out of the local press in Houston is violence, murders, robberies, deaths on the highways," DeLay said.I'm just curious about how the folks in DeLay's Texas district are reacting to this news. Steve Gilliard has a little fun with the Iraq = Houston idea at the News Blog. Elsewhere, the great national political debate has degenerated into "yo momma" remarks. Chad Fifer has a little fun with Dean and Cheney at the Simon. | +Save/Share | | |
