Throw the Bums Out

They're not going to change, are they? Our Fearless Leaders? Sure doesn't look like it. Polls show the majority of Americans are unhappy with this administration. They even show that an amazing number of Americans favor impeachment, if indeed we have been as lied to as badly as it would seem we have. Impeachment sounds better and better to many of us - impeachment of the entire junta, really.

And here's an action you can take if it also sounds good to you. The Million Phone March (for impeachment) is a very organized site where you can get information about the group's mission, get phone numbers for your Senators and Representatives (which you need to keep on the bulletin board right beside your phone), encouragement to write to your local paper. This is an activist site to get the ball rolling for impeachment via bloggers, phone calls, faxes, radio actions and more. There's a feature I really like, where you can read the most recent 25 messages that have been sent from others. The more of us that Congress hears from, the less likely to slavishly follow the White House they will be. They have 2006 to consider. Perhaps some of them are even dreaming of impeachment, without the guts to admit it.
