Montreal 2005, Kyoto and BeyondThe United Nations Conference on Climate Change comes to an end today in Montreal. I have been following this as much as is possible, but it's the worst week of the year for me - absolute end of the term. This means giving finals, grading finals, reading all the writing assignments that have been handed in at the last moment, averaging grades, advising students on classes for next semester. I regret not posting on the Conference, and will perhaps do something next week.In the meantime, if you'd like to do your own research, here are some links to check in on. These are folks who have attended the Conference, and have blogged daily - and sometimes several times a day - about the sessions and activities. -It's Getting Hot in Here - Dispatches from the UN Conference on Climate Change, Montreal 2005 -Climate Justice -UN Dispatch -The NYT has gathered its articles on the Conference together, along with the podcasts by Andrew Revkin (free) here: http://www.nytimes.com/ref/science/earth/montreal-climate.html?8dpc. | +Save/Share | | |
