Caught in a Lie

"I don't think anyone anticipated the breach of the levees." Bush four days after Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans.

I don't think anyone in the Bush Administration anticipated the video that was released by AP today showing all sorts of people worrying about the levees, including Brownie who was shown in the video briefing the President on the disaster within a disaster, namely the flooding of New Orleans due to the levee failure.

Okay so they knew, they failed to act, and then they lied about it. My only question now is why is there a celebration happening in New Orleans right now, instead of a massive demonstration?

And how many lies will it take to get Americans to turn off the Simpsons and take back the country?

FEATURED QUOTE

"It is the logic of our times
No subject for immortal verse
That we who lived by honest dreams
Defend the bad against the worse."
