Mobilize August 12

Jot it down in your super phone. Mark it down in your handheld PDA thinga-majigie. Write it down on your calendar. Burn it into your brain circuitry. ANSWER and a great many other peace groups are mobilizing August 12 to demand an end to the U.S. Israeli war against Palestine and Lebanon. Visit the ANSWER L.A. website: Answerla.org

If you're not from the great Los Angeles area, don't worry. There's going to be a huge march in Washington D.C. More info here. Be adventerous, use Google and find peace events near you. The people of Lebanon and Palestine need us to put an end to this madness.

If you live near me (Riverside, California) we will be having a big peace rally on August 11th at the corner of Iowa and University as part of our on-going weekly vigil against the war. If you're looking for a way to get to the L.A. demos on August 12th, it's a good place to find a ride.
