The Heat Gets To Pat Robertson

As unlikely as it may seem to have Pat Robertson and global warming in one positive headline, I have just read a startling little Reuters story called "Heat makes Pat Robertson a global warming 'convert'". Yep, evidently the extreme temps all over this country and Europe in recent weeks have made the guy who just last fall got on the National Association of Evangelicals' case when they teamed up with "far left environmentalists" and said global warming was caused by humans and needed to be mitigated, into a Believer who now has actually on his show said these amazing words:

"We really need to address the burning of fossil fuels. It is getting hotter, and the icecaps are melting and there is a buildup of carbon dioxide in the air."

Wow, huh? What next? Maybe Robertson can take a little trip to Oklahoma, and hold a tent revival in triple digit weather, invite Senator James Inhofe, and treat him to a major conversion experience.
