Another Fighting Dem Wins

I was waiting for this last night:

Taking his antiwar message from Baghdad to Bucks County, Democrat and political newcomer Patrick Murphy appeared to eke out a victory over Republican Mike Fitzpatrick in the Eighth Congressional District yesterday.

Neither candidate declared victory last night, as Murphy clung to a razor-thin lead.

This morning, with all the votes counted, Murphy's margin is reported as 1,521 out of nearly a quarter-million votes cast.
Though Tammy Duckworth didn't make it, I'm glad to see that Joe Sestak is joined by another Fighting Dem in the winner column.

Hopefully, Jim Webb of Virginia will join them soon.

FEATURED QUOTE

"It is the logic of our times
No subject for immortal verse
That we who lived by honest dreams
Defend the bad against the worse."
