The End In Sight?

I as surprised as anyone else, that the Senate voted to keep the provision in the war spending bill that will require troops to begin to withdraw from Iraq within 120 days of passage of the bill. Could this be the beginning of the end? There is still some haggling to be done on the final version of the bill, but it looks like the blank checks written to the Bush Administration for this sorry war are about to come to an end.

Bush will veto the spending bill, of course, but this is an important first step, and one that could take us out of this insane war.

Imagine Peace.
