Fly like the Jetsons!

The wonders of modern capitalism never cease to amaze me. European heat waves have doubled since 1880. Oil prices in New York reached a record $78.71. So we are basically looking at the collision of two possible extinction level events (ELE) with Global Warming and Peak Oil. Completely oblivious to the real world the geniuses at Moller International have developed a flying saucer for all of us. For a mere $90,000 you can be flying to work just like the Jetsons!

In a rational and functioning society such a monstrosity wouldn't even be conceivable. The problems of global warming and peak oil can only be ignored for so long. Eventually the reality of it all is going to come crashing down on us. The need to consume less energy is going to become abundantly clear. And flying saucers like this will be looked at as a complete waste of time and energy.
