Good for the Republicans?

I'm guessing that the practitioners of High Broderism will conclude that it is. Good for the Republicans, that is: Reuters/Zogby poll shows Bush approval rating at record-low 24% by John Whitesides, Reuters 10/17/07.

Why do I think that? We can start with the headline Reuters put on the story, which was, "Voters unhappy with Bush and Congress".

Yep, it sounds good for the Republicans to me. (NOT!)

This means that Shrub Bush is getting down close to Dick Cheney levels of popularity.

And, speaking of the Dark Lord, if you want to see something really scary, check out the new Frontline documentary available for viewing online, Cheney's Law.

FEATURED QUOTE

"It is the logic of our times
No subject for immortal verse
That we who lived by honest dreams
Defend the bad against the worse."
