The Islamunists are coming!!

Calm down, trolls. That's not an "Islamofascist", that's an earlier version of the eternal bogeyman. This particular picture is called "The Bolshevik". This bogeyman was also known as a "Communist". He even eventually got a bunch of nuclear weapons that could pretty much obliterate all human life in the United States. He had a whole nation for a long time, called the "Soviet Union". But it went out of existence 15 or 16 years ago.

Now, I realize it's not nearly so scary as a bearded religious fanatic hiding out in a cave or in some godforsaken village out in the badlands of Pakistan who doesn't have an army or nukes or even a state of his own. Since 9/11, we know oceans no longer protect us. Unlike back in the days of the Soviet Union, when the oceans were an impenetrable shield against those nuclear missiles and warheads. That's why we need a Star Wars missile shield now, to protect us against those missiles from the Soviet Union, that no longer exists. Because the oceans don't protect us anymore. Or something... Look! Over there! A bearded guy speaking Arabic!!

That iconic image was featured in an article in El Mundo reminding the readers that today is the 90th anniversary of the Russian Revolution of 1917. Which is known as the October Revolution, because, well... Wait! Some Iranian on TV said he doesn't like America! What will we do?! The oceans don't protect us anymore!
