Will Rush say they are "phony" military families? It doesn't fit with the war cheerleaders pretensions or with the lazy conventional wisdom of the punditocracy. But it's consistent with other surveys. From Bush loses ground with military families by Faye Fiore Los Angeles Times 12/07/07:Nearly six out of every 10 military families disapprove of Bush's job performance and the way he has run the war, rating him only slightly better than the general population does. When people ask, where is the antiwar movement, that's where it is. And when people complain about the lack of antiwar demonstrations, why do you need demonsrations when a big majority of the American public has long since soured on the Iraq War? Only one fourth of the public, probably less than the hardcore white fundamentalist vote, agree with the Cheney-Bush position of staying until victory, i.e., forever.
