And Now For Something Completely DifferentNo, I haven't trekked over to the Community Center yet, made that final decision. But I'm tired of whining about my primary indecision, and just want to give people something much more fun to think about. Last Friday on his show, Bill Moyers threw out this invitation, based on the question Katie Couric asked the leading presidential candidates at the end of last month: What book (besides the Bible, which she obviously feels is a given) would you think essential to bring along with you to the White House?Moyers is inviting us regular folks to think about what we'd like to see the eventual new resident of the White House take along and keep close at hand for inspiration and guidance. Next Friday Bill will try to pick one book (and there are quite a few duplicates among those so far suggested) to recommend to the eventual president. He will also give some air time to some of the titles, and put out a press release with the entire list. It's something to mentally chew on, relief for the mind tired of primary choices, so head on over to Moyers' blog, read the many books offered thus far and add your own suggestion to the list. Before you go, though, please leave your choices in comments here as well. I for one would love to hear my fellow bloggers' and our readers' suggestions.
