Worst President EverScott McClellan has a new book. In it, he tells us things we already knew:The President used propoganda to lead us into war. The war was a mistake. The White House is run like a permanent political campaign and decisions are always politically-driven. Honesty and candor were not hallmarks of the Bush White House. Rove and Libby deceived him about the Plame affair. Condi plays bureaucratic games to avoid accountability for whatever goes wrong. We have heard all this before, and by now even most Republicans know these things are true. The only surprise in the book is that the author obviously told the truth. Not something he was known for when he was Bush's Press Secretary. Just ask Dana Perino - she'll tell you. And when her book comes out, maybe she will tell the truth too. Till then, we can expect stuff like this: "Scott, we now know, is disgruntled about his experience at the White House," said White House press secretary Dana Perino. "For those of us who fully supported him, before, during and after he was press secretary, we are puzzled. It is sad — this is not the Scott we knew."Yes, Dana. Not the Scott we knew either. Who knew he had it in him to tell the truth? Technorati Tags: Scott McClellan, What Happened, George W Bush, Worst President Ever | +Save/Share | | |
