Yes, today's Republicans are like thisThe Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) posts on their Hatewatch blog: Bestselling Anti-Obama Fabulist Appears On White Supremacist Radio Show 08/13/08. That would be Swiftboater Jerome Corsi, whose tendentious book Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality was published by Republican strategist and TV pundit Mary Matalin. (Something to think about the next time you see that oh-so-cute husband-and-wife schtick with her and James Carville.) SPLC reports:That his book is rife with inaccuracies hasn't stopped Corsi from promoting it on dozens of talk shows, where he has peddled additional falsehoods about Obama. On Fox News' Hannity’s America, for instance, he made the ludicrous claim that Obama supports abortion "after a child's born."Very classy, those Republicans.
