Hard TimesI can't believe anyone would vote Republican with the economy headed into such dangerous territory. How can anyone vote for John McCain, who has promised to continue the ruinous policies of the Bush administration? For some of us, it is already "hard times" - let us do what we can to help those in need. Some of us cannot afford to wait another four years for help. Now is not the time for idle faith in trickle-down, voodoo economics. We need programs that provide tangible and immediate support to the unemployed workers and uninsured families, the returning veterans, the foreclosed and the repossessed, the homeless and hungry. I read today that John McCain is proposing cuts in Medicare and Medicaid. If you still aren't sure that John McCain is out of touch, perhaps this will convince you. How bad does it have to get before people reject the Republican trickle-down religion of corporate subsidies and tax cuts for the rich? | +Save/Share | | |
