Milestones in bipartisanship

Somebody at the Los Angeles Times online site has a wicked sense of humor. This was featured on their top Web page as of 7:00pm PDT.

Our House Republicans weren't quite so dramatic as some in the South Korean Parliament apparently were. But the House Republicans voted in lockstep against the economic stimulus package. No one from the Christian Republican White People's Party voted for it. (More on this at Memeorandum.)

They didn't bring out the chain saw. They're content to fiddle for tax cuts for billionaires while the economy collapses. Can you call it "class warfare" when the Reps are out to take the whole economy down?

As Digby says, smell the bipartisanship!

FEATURED QUOTE

"It is the logic of our times
No subject for immortal verse
That we who lived by honest dreams
Defend the bad against the worse."
