Jerry Brown's budget vetoCalifornia Gov. Jerry Brown is still fighting for his budget. He just vetoed a budget passed by the Democrats in the legislature. And used the opportunity to take another shot at obstructionist Republicans: "Unfortunately, the Republicans said no."
Unlike our Democratic President, Jerry is willing to call the Republicans on their wrecker tactics. And publicly tag them with being obstructionists, over and over. Jerry may have visionary ideas. But he's also a realist about conditions he faces. Which means he's not pursuing an impossible dream of "post-partisan" harmony with today's Republican Party.
