September Weekend

Just a month from now, the largest peace mobilization since the war began will be held in Washington, D.C. United for Peace and Justice has a very comprehensive website where you can findany information you need about the weekend. The complete schedule of events is there, info on group transportation being organized all over the country to bring people to D.C. for this event, help with housing in the city. There are flyers to download to publicize this action in your area, pins and bumper stickers to start getting the word out. Start thinking about this now, making plans for a couple of days off, figuring out housing, making posters and banners. Opposition to this war is growing across this country; two thousand people protested GWB's visit to Utah yesterday. Imagine that. This weekend will bring us together as a Movement to be reckoned with.
