Open Thread: Katrina EditionA side note: this September, we celebrate labor as well as the third month anniversary of The Blue Voice. In the space of 2 1/2 months since our launch June 13th, TBV has had 362 posts and almost 20,000 hits. We've been linked and trackbacked by/with some of the bigger and more established political blogs out there. We've also received many noteworthy comments. Just yesterday, Marcia Ellen's piece Katrina +3, was linked by MSNBC. Marigolds2's post There's No Waste Like Home received an appreciative comment from Penney Poyzer, book author and presenter of the BBC2 program of the same name. Bruce Miller received a complimentary e-mail from historian, analyst and author Gareth Porter regarding his post Iraq War: The Best We Can Do?. Our collective voices are slowly but surely getting heard thanks to you, our readers and visitors. Expect more insightful and interesting content from TBV in the months to come. We're just getting started. This is an open thread. The floor is yours. | +Save/Share | | |
