Justice?

A recent quote regarding the upcoming trial of Saddam Hussein, got me thinking:

This is really a first in the Arab world, a former leader being called to account for his crimes, in the dock like an ordinary criminal. There's no telling how potent that will be.--John Kunich, Appalachian College of Law (emphasis mine).

If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for us. When are we going to get around to making George Bush account for his crimes? Do we have to wait until he's a former leader? I hope not.

Impeachment would be far too kind.

FEATURED QUOTE

"It is the logic of our times
No subject for immortal verse
That we who lived by honest dreams
Defend the bad against the worse."

-- Cecil Day-Lewis from Where Are The War Poets?
