Plame case documents: What Joe Wilson didn't find in NigerThis is the now-legendary op-ed piece that immediately preceded the outing of Valerie Plame: What I Didn't Find in Africa by Joseph C. Wilson 4th New York Times 07/06/03 (first published on Web site 07/05/03).Most of us had thought until recently that it was this op-ed in particular that prompted the Bush Mafia to go after Wilson's wife Valerie Plame. Oh, sorry, that's unfair to the Mob. The Mafia doesn't usually go after their targets' wives. But now we know that the get-Wilson, out-Plame operation was already under way before that. For real Plame case aficionadoes, the "June 23 meeting" (2003) between Scooter Libby and Judy "Queen of all Iraq" Miller is a key piece of evidence on that matter. | +Save/Share | | |
