Carnival of The Green 9A strangely balmy Monday morning - 59 degrees in the middle of January, imagine that - brings us the latest ride on the Green Carnival. Hosted today by Shea Gunther, a good blog any old time, it's the usual compendium of all things green. My follow-up pieces on e-waste and our attempts to find a solution to recycling them are there, but the entries I most enjoyed were the Savvy Vegetarian's link to and comments on Roxanne Robinson's Boston Globe piece, Watching as the World Vanishes. Please visit the Carnival, if only for this entry. If that's all you read, though, you'll miss City Hippy's post (which I read last week in the blog, and started trying to figure out when in what remains of my life I'll be able to do this) on The Sustainability Bike Tour out of Portland, Oregon. And that reminds me, it's warm enough today to ride the bike when I do my errands. Pump up the tires and give it a dust-off and we'll be ready to GO! | +Save/Share | | |
