Red Bullshit

The very people who sent Troops to Iraq for nothing -- and in insufficient number and with inadequate equipment -- these very same people slap a sticker on their bumper and claim to "support the Troops".

Meanwhile, they care not one bit that their dirty little war is responsible for the death, disability and disfigurement of thousands of these Troops.

It doesn't even matter to them that the mission these brave men and women are being sacrificed for is all a big lie. They embrace the lie, and they support the liar. Even as the lie has morphed into new lie after new lie, they are loyal to the liar.

They have their own version of the big lie. They beat their chests and proclaim themselves to be good patriots because they support sending Troops to Iraq for Bush, whatever his real reasons might be for doing so. They claim to support the Troops -- but -- they really do not care.

The husbands, fathers, sons, daughters, wives and mothers in uniform are expendable. The loss of their lives in this war is honorable because George W Bush wants them there. That alone is sufficient to justify the destruction of their lives, and the grief of their loved ones. Even a mission that is so clearly fucked-up is still more important than their lives. Such is their indifference to the men and women in uniform.

That is the nature of their so-called support for the Troops.

They have no right to criticize us who have opposed this war from the beginning - to question our patriotism - to accuse us of not supporting our men and women in Iraq.

Like the liar-in-chief, they believe their own bullshit.

It's time to call them on it.
