Sic 'em, Karl!

The New York Times seems to think that Karl Rove has been somehow diminished by his recent “reduction in duties.” Let’s not be fooled by this, folks. It is simply a matter of the Republican machine needing to maximize the amount of attention its chief pit bull can devote to his primary function: tearing vital limbs off of Democrats. I’m sure the GOP believes he is their only hope for pulling the 2006 elections out of the toilet. Given his record, they would be foolish to believe otherwise.

Stay tuned for a surge of “Swift-boat” campaign smears, coming to a Congressional race near you…

FEATURED QUOTE

"It is the logic of our times
No subject for immortal verse
That we who lived by honest dreams
Defend the bad against the worse."
