From the Front LinesI've just returned from the pro-immigration demo in Moreno Valley, California. We had anywhere from 500 to 1,000 people at Moreno Valley Community Park where we heard from a wide range of speakers. Afterwards we took to the streets and marched about a mile down the street to City Hall. The mood was jubliant and positive. Other local events were scheduled in Riverside, San Bernardino, and of course, Los Angeles. By all accounts we've had a huge turnout for immigrant rights. Did you join in a protest in your community? Did you blog about it? Drop me a link and let me know how it went. | +Save/Share | | |
