Is Capitalism Holding You Down?An interesting story on the AOL news menu is one about how our fathers can affect our careers. We find random bits of wisdom:Even absentee dads still play a role.Unfortunately, what you won't generally find in the mainstream news are accounts of how NAFTA or GATS or other so-called "free-trade agreements" affect your career. You will hear about how "illegal immigrants lower wages" but you won't hear about the capitalists who exploit those immigrants in order lower wages for everybody. Your job was sent to India/China/El Salvador because of your dad. Nevermind the WTO or any of these silly ol' trade agreements. It was your dad. You need to have a long talk with him. If you'd rather take the blue pill, it is capitalism, not your father, who is holding you down. The good news is you can fight it. Join a socialist organization near you. | +Save/Share | | |
