What Can $320 Billion Buy?Counting last week's emergency spending bill, almost $320 billion has been allocated for pouring down the rathole that is the unnecessary Iraqi War. The totally excellent Truthdig is looking for suggestions for more constructive things that could have been achieved with such an amount. They also link to the National Priorities Project, which has a running tally of the amount spent thus far and their suggestions for alternative uses for the money. Most interesting is another link to a graphical representation of just how much frikking money were actually wasting for Bush's misadventure (and it doesn't even include the latest spending yet.)| +Save/Share | | |
