Cut and RunOkay so maybe it's true that Osama Bin Laden has been pretty hard to locate, but it seems like we have spent an excruciating amount of money and time on Iraq, when they never even attacked us. Why would we give up the search for Bin Laden? The very fact that he still exists is a thorn in our side, and he seems to pop up whenever he feels like it to mock our nation. Why would we spend $400 billion staying the course in Iraq, sacrificing the lives of thousands of American soldiers, and give up the hunt for Bin Laden? Do the Republicans need a boogeyman at large to frighten the American people into letting the Administration poke into all of our personal phonecalls and financial records? Is Bush worried that without some skinny guy in a turban scaring the crap out of us, we might actually become brave enough to demand some of our Constitutional rights? Why do we continue to stay the course in the wrong war, and why do we cut and run in the right war? What kind of sense does that make? | +Save/Share | | |
