Wonky Muse already posted the news about Rummy's departure. But I wanted to acknowledge the event with a post, as well.

Goodbye, Rummy. You have been a disgrace and a disaster. If Dick Cheney weren't there, you would be a contender for the worst Cabinet-level official in American history. But since Cheney isn't technically a Cabinet officer, maybe you're still in contention.

We hope to see you again in the news very soon. Testifying before Congressional committees, for example. Or defending yourself in front of the International Criminal Court.
